Join the UCI Engineering Alumni Society on the 2nd annual ski trip.This time we will be spending two nights in Mammoth. We'll arrive late Friday night and enjoy dinner together. We start Saturday early with breakfast and head to the mountain for snowboarding or skiing. Sunday we wrap up with breakfast and for those willing we'll go skiing again. The cost for lodging and food for both days is $100.00. Lodging at the Mammoth Ski and Racquetball Club.
Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort boasts an impressive 400 inches of annual snowfall and the highest summit elevation in the state of California at a height of 11,053ft. Located in the southwest corner of the volcanic Long Valley Caldera on the eastern edge of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountain Range; Mammoth Mountain lives up to its name by offering over 3,500 skiable acres and a 3,100ft vertical drop.
The resort is home to modern facilities, excellent terrain options. The mountain has a variety of expansive bowls, tree skiing, wide open groomers, steep chutes and world-class terrain parks.
